Richard Kind, Barry Bostwick, Colin Mochrie, Brad Sherwood, Patrick Warburton, Jacklyn Zeman, Nancy Lee Grahn, John Ingle, Erin Hershey, Kiko Ellsworth, John Lasseter, and Michael Eisner were all on hand and part of the Disney Channel look inside the new theme park. The special was directed by Jerry Reese and is a great look at Disney California Adventure the way it looks on opening day. The celebrations end at night with a fireworks display.
Donald Duck's 50th Birthday
Donald is shown in both animated and costumed form, interacting with emcee Dick Van Dyke and other cast members. The film not only shows Donald's life, but also depicts an extensive international tour that Donald went on in 1984 as well as showing various celebrities of the day wishing Donald happy birthday. The tour culminates in a parade in Donald's honor at Disneyland.
Bride of Boogedy
The Davis family deals with the return of Mr. Boogedy and his never-ending hunt for Widow Marion as well as a rival gag-store competitor who really has it out for Carleton. Meanwhile, the town of Lucifer Falls is planning a big carnival which the mean Mr. Lynch seeks to ruin- if Boogedy doesn't see to that first.

A young newspaper boy who is on a Little League team works hard to persuade an elderly Englishman, with whom he had a previous run-in, to donate land for a baseball diamond.
Moochie of Pop Warner Football
Moochie joins a Pop Warner Football team, but has troubles with the mayor’s son. When the two make amends, they help the team win and go to the Disneyland Bowl, and get to enjoy a visit to the park.
You Ruined My Life
"You Ruined My Life" was a cute TV movie (from the Wonderful World of Disney movies that they show on Saturday or Sunday nights) starring Soleil Moon Frye as Minerva, a spoiled girl who lived in a Las Vegas casino with her Uncle Howie who lets her do whatever she wants. Minerva gets into trouble a lot, and her Aunt Hermione threatens to take her away from Uncle Howie. Paul Reiser plays Dexter, a professor who figures out a way to win every time at blackjack. Dexter gets caught at cheating, and Uncle Howie works out a deal for Dexter to tutor Minerva so she can get into a private school back east. This is easier said than done, because Minerva has never been interested in school.
Sunday Drive
Two identical cars pull up to a restaurant, one belonging to a childless couple who are taking care of their niece and nephew while their parents are away, who are out on a Sunday drive. The other belonging to a guy who is on his way to meet his fiance and to begin working for her father. In his car is his dog, whom the couple mistake for the children, when they get into his car and drive. While he goes into their car and the children are under a blanket and he mistakenly assumes it's his dog. When they discover the mistake they are both so far away from each other that they don't know what to do.
