This experimental film is a combination of my childhood’s memories, forgotten taboos, fragments of the impression of Japan and the interest with VHS (maybe a fake Japanese shortfilm). This experimental film was recorded in a bad-quality VHS, full of glitches. I hope you enjoy this visual bizarre adventure.

Break
On National day, Sheng Liming, a junior high school teacher, is bored and sits around in his single-room dormitory. Meanwhile, his former student Dong Jie plans to take a documentary about Sheng's life. During the filming, one of Dong and Sheng' friends tells them about the news that Dong's former classmate Li Yanwu is missing for quite a while. It seems to infuse some fresh excitement into Sheng's difficult holiday. Sheng‘s desire to find Li Yanwu is getting intenser with the hidden aches and pains of life and work. Dong Jie's attitude towards the expression of his film also turns different during the week.

So he called his colleagues and friends and the party was held in a cheerful atmosphere. Next door to Ma Nan's house lived a couple who often quarreled. The unusually loud noise aroused the curiosity of party-goers. They went next door together to find out, but unexpectedly found a terrifying and bloody murder scene. The apartment, which was originally sparsely populated, seems to have turned into a huge haunted house. Flickering lights, shrill screams, and maddened murders. A plague-like virus spreads freely in the apartment.
