Wara nimo Sugaru Kemono tachi (藁にもすがる獣たち / Beasts Clutching at Straws) is a 2026 Japanese neo-noir crime suspense thriller directed by Hideo Jojo and written by Yasuko Kobayashi. Based on Keisuke Sone's 2011 novel, the film is set for a nationwide theatrical release in Japan on September 25, 2026, distributed by Toei. The story centers on a lost gym bag containing 100 million yen in cash found at an internet café by a struggling YouTuber living with his ailing grandmother. The discovery triggers a chaotic and violent chain reaction, entwining a corrupt police officer indebted to the Yakuza, a scheming femme fatale, and ruthless criminals all fighting to claim the fortune. The ensemble cast stars Oji Suzuka, Hiroki Narimiya, Nana Mori, MEGUMI, and Jun Fubuki.
