Overview
Andrian and Ivan are two brother-sailors who worked in Arkhangelsk as a carved artists. And so, at the end of August they decided, like loons, to go to the island. When the men were already far away in the sea, they moored to a small patch of land and began to have a dinner. After the dinner they decided to go to sleep and go home in the morning. But they could not even imagine what disaster awaited them in the night.

The Sea Within
Fishermen couple Ah Shing and Mei-wah, having lived from boat to shore, stayed together for most of their lives. After their son grew up, they have different visions towards the rest of their days. Ah Shing insists on fishing amid the decline of the local fishing industry. Mei-wah works as a factory worker and wishes for a more stable life. In the living room, RAMA (33), is painting the bottom of the wall which is full of TARA (6) crayon scribbles which resemble the shape of a ship with simple lines. JINGGA (30) is ironing her school uniform and feeding Tara who is busy drawing a boat in a drawing book. Rama looked tired, he suggested that JIngga stop painting so that Tara wouldn't get involved in scribbling. Hearing that, Jingga promised to take care of Tara so she wouldn't do it again. Rama said he was tired when he came home from work and found the house dirty. If JIngga can't get Tara to comply, then JIngga won't be allowed to paint anymore.
