A Ticket in Tatts
John Hare loses his job after attending a horse race without permission. Despite being married with a child, he invests his last shilling into a Tattersall's sweepstake ticket and ends up drawing the favorite. He then meets with Dick Fallows, the owner of the horse, and places two-thirds of the sweep money with him. The horse wins, but after Hare secures the prize money, he returns to Fallows' camp where he deals with the subsequent fallout and comedic twists surrounding the winnings.
The Divorce Game
Young marrieds Paul, the Viscount De Sallure, and his bride Florence are in financial straits. Florence’s inheritance is available to her only if she separates from her husband so the pair concoct a scheme to give that appearance. Shirley Kaye
Shirley Kaye is the vivacious daughter of Egerton Kaye, president of the great Union Central Railroad. The latter holds his position through his descent from "Pirate" Kaye, who founded the line, rather than through any executive ability of his own. Shirley is queen of the most exclusive Long Island set, and as clever as she is lovely to look at. From the West comes T.J. Magen, a rough but lion-hearted financier, who buys the house next door to the Kayes. Magen cares little for society, and the elaborate household which their wealth forces them to support is a constant worry to his simple and unassuming wife. But the daughter, "Daisy," yearns, with all her heart to break into the society and swim where Shirley Kaye reigns supreme.
It Didn't Work Out Right
Billy Hopkins, due to the fickleness of Blanche, his fiancée, develops a jealous rage when the fat Harry openly flirts with Blanche. Johnnie advises Billy to do some flirting of his own, and comments that Sonia Curbs can make any girl "green-eyed." Sonia willingly agrees to carry out the proposed plan.
The Amazing Impostor
Rich young Joan Hope is ashamed of how her father made his money--as a chewing gum magnate. While taking a train trip, she meets the Countess of Crex, a member of the Russian nobility--who is, in reality, a jewel thief.
Cue and Mis-Cue
Billiard nut Michael McCue arrives home intoxicated where his wife greets him with a shower of knives, forks and plates, which he skillfully dodges before she slams the door on him. He nods off on the hall sofa into a most beautiful if fantastical dream. He is back in the billiard parlor with his trusty cue and the pair go through some mad adventures until he is awoken by his wife, sorry for her harsh treatment.
At the Court of Prince Make Believe
Little Sonny Brown returns to his wretched poverty-stricken home one day to find that his father has expired in his cups. Sonny trudges forth and falls by the wayside. Mr. and Mrs. Chatterton drive by in their auto with their little daughter Clara. They carry him home then place the boy in Clara's beautiful room, still fast asleep. The imaginative little fellow, who has never known the love and kindness for which he craves, dreams a most beautiful dream, in which he goes to the Court of Prince Make Believe.
Hot Heels
Glenn Higgins and Patsy Jones are a song-and-dance team traveling the vaudeville circuit across the United States, and land in a Kentucky tank-town filled with sharpies and wise-guys , wearing spats and carrying canes, who have reasons for wanting a horse named "Hot Heels, not to win the race he is scheduled to run in. This does not bode well for the vaudevillians as Glenn, acting on a hot tip from a hot vamp, has bet the pair's bankroll on "Hot Heels" to win.
