Overview
In the turbulent era of the Republic of China, student Ye Pingjun takes a job at a Western Hunan meeting house to fund her mother’s medical care. However, she's unexpectedly caught in the crossfire of an assassination attempt against the powerful Yu family’s fifth son, Yu Changxuan, and ends up accused of a crime she didn’t commit. Pingjun strikes a bold bargain: if Changxuan cannot identify the true culprit within ten days, he must clear her name.
