Thunderstone is an Australian science fiction children's series broadcast on Network Ten from 12 February 1999 to 8 September 2000. Created by Jonathan M. Shiff, the show is set in a post-apocalyptic future where a comet has destroyed most life on Earth. Megas XLR is a series about an overweight couch potato named Coop who stumbles across a giant robot in a junkyard. Things also heat up when Coop learns that an alien race called the Glorft are also after his MEGAS robot, so he teams up with Kiva and his best friend Jamie to fight them off, though mostly so he can keep his new toy.

The World of Yor (Italian: Il mondo di Yor) is a 1983 Italian fantasy adventure miniseries created and written by Antonio Margheriti for RAI 1. The four-part serial, based on Eugenio Juan Zappietro and Juan Zanotto's 1974 Argentine comic series Yor the Hunter (Henga el cazador), would later be edited into a feature-length film, Yor: The Hunter from the Future. Yor is an extremely blond prehistoric warrior who comes to question his origins, particularly with regard to a mysterious medallion he wears.
